On April 1st, PhD Candidates Tianyi Lyu and Xiao Shang from the Laboratory for Extreme Mechanics and Additive Manufacturing, were interviewed by CityNews in the Metal Additive Manufacturing Laboratory which was established and currently under the supervision of Prof. Yu Zou ( (MSE). In this interview story, “A New Frontier for 3D Printing”, our two graduate students shared their thoughts on the science, applications, present, and the future of metal 3D printing.
