On Saturday, November 15th, the department had a fantastic day during Fall Campus Day! We welcomed high school students and their parents who are considering a future in engineering and enjoyed answering their questions about our program.
A special shout-out to our student volunteers—Renee Slen, Sebastian Lee, Melanie Liu, Jason Chen Ishaan Patel, Audrey Piguet—for their help and enthusiasm throughout the day.
Our faculty presenters, Hani Naguib, Jason Hattrick-Simpers, and Liyang Dai-Hattrick, provided an overview of the field of materials science and engineering and discussed the department’s cutting-edge facilities and research.
