6th Annual Ursula Franklin Forum on Science, Engineering and Society

September 21, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Each year Massey College and Science@Massey host the Franklin Forum on a topic at the intersection of Science, Engineering, Public Policy and Society. This year in honour of the centenary of the birth of Dr. Ursula Franklin we will hold a virtual event with colleagues, friends and family highlighting her contributions as a mentor and colleague, in research and teaching, as a public intellectual and champion for the advancement of peace, human rights and equity. Speakers include Jane Freeman, Carson Dueck, Doug Perovic, Vanda Vitali, Phil De Luna and members of the Franklin family, among others, who will reflect on Ursula’s legacy and lead discussion.

Come to remember one of Massey College’s leading lights! For the new Junior Fellows, in particular, come and be inspired by her legacy!
